Café Rivva is a fresh new eatery offering great tasting gourmet organic lunch salads freshly prepared every day.

We have refreshing, wholesome smoothies made with locally sourced organic fruits and vegetables, and premium organic frozen yogurt which is light and fat-free.

About Us

At Rivva we provide healthy organic vegetarian and vegan alternatives to fast food, without compromising on taste. We put a great deal of time and effort in sourcing the finest organic ingredients from local farmers and trusted distributors. Locally grown produce means a smaller carbon footprint, less handling and therefore less bruising, with some of the freshest ingredients being harvested just the day before.

Food that has been grown organically carries more nutrients, which are easier to absorb into our bodies cells. We value a healthy lifestyle and support natural, organic and chemical-free farming in business. Our philosophy is ‘goodness flows from within’ which definitely shows in the purity of our smoothies, salads and frozen yogurt.

Our food is prepared from scratch on the premises and kitchen areas are kept extremely clean. As all our produce is either vegan or vegetarian, we don’t use meat, poultry or fish so there is no risk of cross contamination. We use eco-friendly dish washing soap and floor detergent, and we don’t use microwave ovens to heat any of our food.

Organic Smoothies

Our smoothies are unique in that we use only the finest organic fruit and vegetables in our blends. All produce is sourced from local Santa Monica and Brentwood farmer’s markets directly from certified farmers and organic suppliers.

These are more than just juice, and we like to think of them as a nutritious and carefully balanced meal using wholesome ingredients. Our organic smoothies have no added sugar, no MSG and are suitable for detox. Each of our recipes have been carefully designed so we can offer the perfect smoothie for every occasion.

Our Kale Smoothie is great for breakfast on the go, and our Superfood Smoothie is an energizing pick-me-up for that late-afternoon slump. Try a dark and rich Raw Cacao Smoothie for an excellent coffee alternative or a Westside Post-Yoga Refresher to replenish those electrolytes after a cardio or intense workout.

If you have a nut allergy you should be aware that almond milk and cashew butter is used as a base in many of our smoothies. For the lactose intolerant, all of our smoothies are dairy-free, with the exception of ‘Light & Free’ which contains our premium frozen yogurt. If you are unsure about any of the ingredients, please consult our helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Organic Salads

Rivva organic salads are freshly prepared on the premises every morning, and are ideal for brunch, lunch or an early evening meal. Most of our salads are vegan, but all are vegetarian and can be used as part of a structured detox regime. Our organic salads do not contain eggs, and our cheeses are made by using vegetarian enzymes so they are rennet-free.

These salad recipes have all been carefully designed to provide a balanced selection of protein, carbohydrates and fats. They contain selected organic ingredients sourced locally from the farmer’s markets and USDA certified wholesalers.

Our dressings are made from scratch and are blended daily with fresh local herbs, organic olive oil, organic sesame oil, marukan organic rice vinegar and italian volcano lemon juice.

For taste, the majority of our salads are sweetened with organic agave but some dishes do include organic brown sugar. For the gluten intolerant, please note that a number of our salads contain wheat and nuts, so please consult with a member of staff before ordering. The pasta salads and the Rivva Salad also contain dairy.

Organic Frozen Yogurt

We are proud to be the only supplier of organic frozen yogurt in Brentwood and the surrounding area. We provide Cloud Top organic premium frozen yogurt, which contains no artificial sweeteners, flavors, colors, preservatives or high fructose corn syrup.

This premium organic frozen yogurt is ideal as a complement to your evening meal or to cool off in the midday sun. It tastes so light and fluffy, is a natural source of protein and a good source of calcium. Our frozen yogurt is low carb, USDA Certified Organic, gluten-free, fat-free and guilt-free. It’s even certified Kosher.

We also have plenty of organic toppings to choose from and our fruit toppings are all fresh from the local west LA farmers markets and organic certified suppliers.

All of our dairy products use non-animal rennet. We have a dairy free range of ice cream and our sweet toppings are all free from gelatin, which leaves you free to relax and enjoy your dessert as either a vegetarian or vegan option.

The café is wheelchair accessible and has disabled toilet facilities. Underground valet parking is available nearby which we will validate for you when you visit.

Also, for your convenience, we provide free WIFI internet access and take all major credit cards.
